What exactly is TREE(HOUSE)?

Open to friends and invited guests of the organizers, TREE(HOUSE) is an intimate, private, invite-only small-scale intimate electronic music experience set in the the 50 acre Tiny Piney Forest. The main venue is centered around the two story Tiny Piney treehouse. The event is not held in the treehouse, but the mainstage is built below. The surrounding trees and forest offer myriad entertainment, but this is not an Electric Forest-level production of full-property art installations and LED screens.

Where exactly is Tiny Piney Forest?

Approximately 30 minutes west of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The main venue is located one-half (1/2) mile from the parking area. Be prepared for a 10 minute walk on a forest path. You are welcome to bring a wagon to transport your gear.

Will there be food? Beverages?

Yes; beverage vending will be available until close; food vending will be available until 10 PM. Alcohol consumption is restricted to 21+. Those 21+ are permitted to bring their own alcohol. Please be prepared to show a government-issued photo ID at festival entrance to verify your age and obtain a 21+ wristband.

What ages are permitted?

You must be 18+ to be unaccompanied. All minors must be accompanied by an adult during daylight hours. At 8 PM all minors will be required to leave the premises. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Please be prepared to show a government-issued photo ID at festival entrance to verify your age and obtain a 21+ wristband.

Can I spend the night? Is camping available?

Yes; we encourage camping. See Camping section for details.

When does the venue open? Close?

Parking and the camping areas will open at 3 PM on Saturday, August 3rd.

We request campers depart the venue by 12 noon on Sunday, August 4th

What should I wear/bring?

  • Festival attire encouraged (but nothing offensive please…)

  • Closed-toed shoes probably smart…you’ll be on forest pathways and fields

  • Water bottle (we’d love to reduce plastic waste!)

  • Camp chairs/picnic blanket/hammock …SO many trees!

  • Headlamp (it’ll be dark in the forest!)

  • Camping kit if that’s your jam!

  • Paddleboard/inflatable kayak

  • Do NOT bring anything on the prohibited items list below

Tree(HOUSE) is located in the private Tiny Piney Forest across various types of terrain including forest pathways, grassy fields, gravel, and dirt roads. While exploring you will encounter uneven ground, sticks, and other trip hazards. We recommend you wear close-toed shoes and be mindful where you walk…a headlamp would be smart when it gets dark. But otherwise, dress for a festival! We’ll send a weather outlook closer to the event.

What time does music start? What are the set times?

Music will start at 5 PM. Set times and stage locations will be published closer to the event.

What is the water policy?

Bring as much as you like, but water refill stations will be available throughout the venue.

Will there be electricity/re-charge stations for phones?

We will have limited stations available to re-charge phones though can’t guarantee availability. This is a forest venue and electricity is generally not available.

Do you have ADA accommodations?

Tree(HOUSE) is located in the private Tiny Piney Forest across various types of terrain including forest pathways, grassy fields, gravel, and dirt roads. We regret that due to the size and outdoor nature of the venue, ADA-compliant campsites and accommodations are not available. We do however encourage you to contact us at info@treehousemusicfestival.com to discuss if we can assist with specific accommodations.

For additional reference, the distance between the parking area and camping area is reasonably flat across grassy terrain and approximately 100 yards. The main treehouse venue and stage is located one-half (1/2) mile from the parking area over an uneven dirt forest road and rolling hills.

ALCOHOL POLICY

You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Please be prepared to show a government-issued photo ID at festival entrance to verify your age and obtain a 21+ wristband. . If in security’s judgment anyone is overly intoxicated, then the organizers reserve the right to confiscate your alcohol and/or escort you from the premises. Please drink responsibly.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

**These items will be confiscated if found and may not be returned.**

  • No fireworks, flying prayer lanterns, or explosives

  • Animals/pets that are not specifically trained and credentialed as government-certified service animals (i.e., emotional support/”comfort animals” are not permitted on festival grounds). Please see Service Animal Polices section

  • No grills, open flame, candles, or charcoal (small Coleman-style campstoves will be the one exemption from this rule)

  • No generators. RV’s with built-in generators that run off the RV’s gas are permitted. External fuel generators IE gas, diesel, or kerosene, and gas cans are not permitted. Solar generators are exempt.

  • No gas/fuel cans of any kind (with the exception of small propane containers for campstoves listed above)

  • No box trucks

  • No Large sound systems (and if neighbors ask to turn it down please respect their wishes)

  • No glass (mirrors are allowed)

  • No laser pointers

  • No illegal substances

  • No nitrous oxide

  • No weapons of any kind

  • No tiki torches

  • No golf clubs

  • No hammers

  • No unauthorized merchandise

  • No helium tanks

  • No bicycles, skateboards, or scooters

  • No boats or hard sided floatation devices

  • No One Wheelers

  • No American Indian headdresses*

  • No Confederate flags*

  • No threatening signs or apparel*
